About this trek

Triund is one of the most popular and beginner-friendly treks near McLeod Ganj. The trail winds through dense oak and rhododendron forests before opening up to a stunning ridge with panoramic views of the Dhauladhar range. Camping at Triund under a star-lit sky is an experience you will never forget.

"Had a great time overall. The campfire at night with the mountain backdrop was magical. Minor suggestion — start a bit earlier to avoid midday heat."
