Start early morning from McLeod Ganj (1,475 m). The trail gradually climbs through thick forests of oak and rhododendron. After about 5-6 hours of trekking, arrive at the Triund ridge campsite. Enjoy sunset views over the Dhauladhar peaks. Overnight in tents.
Wake up before sunrise for a magical golden hour over the mountains. After breakfast, begin the descent back to McLeod Ganj. Reach by afternoon. Trip ends.
"Absolutely loved the experience! The guide was knowledgeable and the campsite views were unreal. Will be booking again for Hampta Pass."
"Had a great time overall. The campfire at night with the mountain backdrop was magical. Minor suggestion — start a bit earlier to avoid midday heat."
