About this trek

Beas Kund is a glacial lake situated at the base of the Solang Valley. The trail passes through the famous Solang ski slopes and meadows filled with wildflowers. On a clear day, you can see peaks like Hanuman Tibba and Shitidhar. A perfect short trek for first-timers and families.

Day-by-day itinerary

Drive from Manali to Solang Valley. Begin the trek to Dhundi (2,520 m), passing the ski slopes. Overnight camp.

Trek through alpine meadows to Bakarthach (3,380 m). Continue to Beas Kund glacial lake (3,690 m). Explore the surroundings, enjoy views of Hanuman Tibba. Return to Bakarthach for overnight camp.

Descend back to Dhundi in the morning. Drive back to Manali. Trip ends.
